Finding a Job
Irish employers are always seeking the best science graduates to join their companies but there is considerable competition for advertised vacancies and you must do everything possible to make yourself attractive to a potential employer.
What must I do?
- Prepare an effective and well-presented CV.
- Try to obtain work experience in a relevant company.
- Some college courses provide work experience as an integral part of their undergraduate courses. Graduates from such courses are always in high demand by employers. If your course does not provide work experience, try to arrange this yourself.
- Watch out for advertised vacancies, in your Career's Office, in the press and online. Register with a Recruitment Agency such as ourselves.
- Apply for all relevant vacancies.
